Give. Share. Enjoy.
Magito Wines
Our name, Magito (muh-g-toe) was created to reflect the Spirit of the Magi, an ancient tribe that were revered for sharing their cultural heritage. Their acts, beliefs, and influence encouraged tolerance and greater cross-cultural understanding. Magito means to give, to share, and to enjoy with friends—what better name for a winery!
Award-Winning Wine Blends
While we’re serious about our wine, we’re not too serious to know that wine is best shared and enjoyed with good friends. To that end, Magito’s specialty is blending grape varietals from great vineyards in Napa Valley, Sonoma Valley and other California wine country regions. It’s our way of celebrating the diversity of different vineyards, and the power of blending to create new ways to enjoy wine. We've been fortunate to have Magito honored with many wine industry ratings and awards, including one of the "100 Top Values of 2007" from Wine & Spirits magazine.

Meet Our Winemaker, Tom Meadowcroft
My passion for wines comes from my experiences growing up and traveling in Europe and the United States. Early in life, I started my journey in winemaking by working the harvest of 1979 in Bordeaux. In later years, I worked in Washington State for the Andrew Will Winery, then with Ric Forman in Napa. After receiving further education at UC Davis and Napa College, I became vineyard manager for a company focused on sustainable farming and environmental advocacy. Managing dozens of properties, for the top wineries in Napa and Sonoma, taught me the principles of winegrowing and gave me a vision for the kinds of wines that I wanted to make.
At Magito I’m focused on making blends of my favorite wine varietals. While Magtio has been honored with many wine industry awards and ratings, I’m most pleased to see our customers sharing Magito with their friends. That’s why I became a winemaker and I hope you decide to enjoy and share my wines too.
Sincerely,

p.s. We just introduced our new Meadowcroft Wines label. Ocassionally we find a harvest so wonderful that it can stand on its own. Our first is the 2004 Meadowcroft Cabernet Sauvignon from the renowed Mt. Veeder appellation in Napa Valley. Our Meadowcroft Wines are reserve creations that are only available in limited quantities.
